We print your image on good quality canvas and stretch it on a thick wooden frame. This involves wrapping the edges of the canvas around the sides of the frame and stapling it at the back. This can be done in either of two different styles, which we call "Standard Wrap" and "Gallery Wrap".
"Standard Wrap" means that the whole of your image is visible on the front of the frame, and the canvas that remains visible on the sides of the frame is just plain white. This can look quite effective, but many people prefer "Gallery wrap". |
"Gallery wrap" means that part of the image is wrapped around the sides of the frame, so there is no bare canvas visible when the canvas is hung on a wall. This is more expensive because it uses more ink, and it takes longer because we often need to digitally "extend" images using image manipulation software in order to avoid wrapping significant details around the sides of the frame. |
